Scientific Foundation
INDYA is not an automatic diet generator. It is a platform built by nutrition professionals for nutrition professionals, where you remain in control and make decisions based on your knowledge, experience, and each client’s individual case.
The project is backed by Dr. Javier Guerrero López, co-founder of INDYA, and his doctoral dissertation, Precision Sports Nutrition, registered with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Valencia.
Our methodology draws on more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific studies on sports nutrition, energy metabolism, and adaptations to training.
We use official, auditable food databases, including BEDCA (Spanish Food Composition Database), USDA FoodData Central, and, when appropriate, nutritional information provided by food manufacturers.
