We were just another nutrition service, but with an innovative and ambitious vision.<\/p>\n

We managed to get into media projects with Redbull athletes and we launched a cooking blog for athletes in MARCA.com with Chef Paco Roncero. This generated interest and we were invited to talk about it at TEDx. At that moment we decided to take our passion to a notary.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”year-block”][vc_column width=”1\/3″ el_class=”year-text”][vc_column_text css=””]We founded IND: Instituto de Nutrici\u00f3n Deportiva SL. We inaugurated our track record with two awards for best entrepreneurial project. We wanted to create a professional and motivating experience for amateur athletes seeking to improve their performance through nutrition.<\/p>\n

On November 1, 2014, after a 9-month renovation, we opened our own center in Valencia with a laboratory for measuring, a kitchen for training and several rooms for planning. We finished the year with 3 nutritionists in the team, we implemented a very careful methodology and began to record data of our athletes in a mega Excel designed by our great friend Carlos San Martin.<\/p>\n

It was a period of many workshops for clubs and federations, as well as collaborations with brands such as RedBull, Leku\u00e9 or Bkool. Little by little, the message and the vision of personalized nutrition was taking hold.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”year-block”][vc_column width=”1\/3″ el_class=”year-text”][vc_column_text css=””]After many months of preparation, we started the development of our own nutritional planning software. We bought measuring equipment to be able to work with more information about each athlete.<\/p>\n

We collaborated with the Kuwait triathlon team (total random) and started working with Marc M\u00e1rquez and \u00c1lex M\u00e1rquez, with whom we would complete 3 successful seasons in Moto GP. Gaaaaassssss![\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″ el_class=”year”][vc_column_text css=””]2016[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″ el_class=”year-img”][vc_images_carousel images=”1317,1314,1316,1315″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_no” speed=”3000″ wrap=”yes” css_animation=”none” css=”” el_id=”y2016″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”year-block”][vc_column width=”1\/3″ el_class=”year-img”][vc_images_carousel images=”1322,1321,1320,1319″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_no” speed=”3000″ wrap=”yes” css_animation=”none” css=”” el_id=”y2017″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″ el_class=”year”][vc_column_text css=””]2017[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″ el_class=”year-text”][vc_column_text css=””]We released the first version of the software for our nutritionists, capable of calculating and customizing the nutritional plan for each athlete. The experience and productivity of the on-site service improves.<\/p>\n

We participated in several sporting events and started working in F1 with Carlos Sainz Jr. With him we would spend 2 unforgettable seasons that, together with the work in Moto GP, would push the project to another level of demand and speed. This year we started the development of the app.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”year-block”][vc_column width=”1\/3″ el_class=”year-text”][vc_column_text css=””]In March we launched the app to improve the follow-up of athletes who came to the center in person. The app is surprising and we are appearing in more and more media.<\/p>\n

We are awarded an R&D grant (IVACE). However, the huge investment we had made in the development of the platform means that the project is about to die for lack of funding (or financial planning). To the stick! We decided to get out of our 4 walls and also offer the service online. We started to work with some sportsmen remotely, among them, \u00c1lex Rins, Suzuki rider with whom we spent 4 seasons.<\/p>\n

Five years after its foundation, the project is becoming profitable with 500 amateur athletes per month.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”year-block”][vc_column width=”1\/3″ el_class=”year-text”][vc_column_text css=””]Covid. We had to close. After 3 days of panic, we digitized the entire service in record time thanks to the great team we had\/have.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, the online model is convincing and we are growing. We implemented the intelligent change of recipes so that if you have planned recipes that you don’t like, you can change them for others with the same calories and nutrients.<\/p>\n

At the end of the year we raised our first round of funding to outsource a product and technology team. At this moment we are a team of 8 brave people in a start up with a lot of potential. We won the Innovation Hub of Valencia CF and began to collaborate with the club’s medical services.<\/p>\n

We created our own product and technology department led by the top among the tops, Javier de la Llave. We achieved one of the biggest technological milestones to date: The platform is capable of creating and readjusting each nutritional plan fully automatically. However, we remain convinced that the human team of nutritionists is fundamental.<\/p>\n

We launched a program for trainers to offer our service and in a few months it is a success. We start collaboration with the supplementation brand Crown. We start preparing the software to be able to license it to other sports nutritionists.<\/p>\n

20,000 athletes join us on IG, 1,600 leave their rating on the Stores with an average of 4.8 out of 5 and we closed the year with 3,500 monthly recurring subscribers.
